If you liked the idea of driving at a tornado, dropping a probe and getting the shot, Stormchaser takes that fantasy to a free browser game that works on a phone. It is independent and not affiliated with any other game.
What is the same
Read the storm, choose a position, get close, deploy an instrument pod ahead of the tornado, and photograph it. Risk and reward come from how close you dare to get.
What is different
Stormchaser is a short, replayable session rather than a long simulation. You play in your browser, free, with progression (a base, techniques, a Codex), teams and a daily board. It is simpler by design, so it fits a few minutes at a time.
Not a replacement for a full simulator
If you want a large open driving sandbox with vehicle physics, a downloadable PC game is a better fit. If you want something you can open on a bus, Stormchaser is.
